Classes at Way to Glow are interactive, joyful, and nourish a child’s mind, body, and spirit. Classes are tailored to each age group, reflecting the learning styles and developmental needs of the yogis who are participating. No matter how old your child is, they will learn yoga skills and mindfulness tools that will stick with them for life!

  • Preschool/K Yoga

In preschool/kindergarten yoga, we use our imaginations, songs, and stories to explore yoga poses, breathing exercises, mindfulness, and meditation. We learn how to pay attention to our bodies and our feelings, and practice taking turns and sharing our voices. We have fun breathing, stretching, moving, dancing, and playing together!

  • 1st-3rd grade Yoga

  • Middle School/Teen Yoga

In this class, we continue to creatively explore yoga poses, breathing exercises, mindfulness, and meditation. As kids head toward the teen years, we address more complex themes and more advanced poses and sequencing/flows. We learn about the benefits of various poses and how to incorporate yoga into our daily lives to reduce stress and improve our health and well-being. We weave joy and playfulness into the class with some teen-appropriate yoga games. We also spend a portion of the class crafting. We use natural and recycled materials when possible; projects have included lavender eye pillows, mala necklaces, clay and macrame plant holders, wire trees, lip balm, “mantra mirrors,” and bath salts.
